Did you install winzip and select to have the RC menu integration?

And, XP has native unzip functions built in so you don't need winzip

Chrishirst

Need to complete download I think
Thanks for the good information you gave me.
I got winzip evaluation version) host zip page all files.I think I need to change my mvps.bat file to hosts.mvp, but when I double click on mvp.bat it
doesn't rename it to hosts.mvp. If I could just get
that I think all would be well. I need that icon hosts.mvp How do I get it?

I guess you are asking about this

http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm

simplest way is to open the text version

http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.txt

in your browser

then open your hosts file, located in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc in notepad. Then copy the text from the browser (Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C) and paste it into the notepad window (Ctrl+A, Ctrl+V) and save the new hosts file

MAKE SURE THAT NOTEPAD DOES NOT ADD A .txt extension to the file

That was helpful. Now I do have 5 icons
on my computer for winzip.Seems like to many.
I've got Winzip folder
Winzip icon
hostzip icon
hosts
host file in notepad
It seems hostzip and winzip just opens
the wizard. Is this all right or am I mixed
up? jacobi
