Brand new to this forum. Have searched everywhere for clear instructions on how to increase the width to my website but have come up empty. I should mention that I'm a rookie when it comes to CSS and HTML. My site http://www.burstingplethora.com is running WordPress using the Suffusion theme. It's a great theme but the default width is a little too narrow. I want the area of my posts/pages to be wider and for my widgets to be a little wider as well. I know it's possible to widen the theme because I have seen various other sites using Suffusion that are wider than mine. One example is http://peterpazucha.com. If you compare his width to mine, you can obviously see the difference. If possible, I would like for my width to be exactly (or nearly exactly) as wide as his. From what I understand, I need to edit the CSS to do this? I can find all of the CSS for my theme, but do not know where to edit, and what to put in and take out. Any help is greatly appreciated. Peace.
How Do I Increase The Width Of My Website?

@justanotherpoet: Looks like you're using a fluid layout. Which width do you want to adjust exactly?
The best bet is to use the WebKit Inspector built into Safari and Chrome. Right-click the element you want to widen and choose Inspect Element. You can then see the element in the markup, as well as the associated CSS classes that you'd need to change.
