I also have this problem,because I have a screen resolution of 1280 x 1024 when I checked it on a normal screen of 1024x768 the bar does appear in place but it forms a horizontal scroll area of the browser, what I'am trying to avoid,so if I reduce the size it cuts out in the wider resolution I don't know what to do.Also I put on the right side of the bar
icons in png with links of various pages but it goes out of place in smaller resolutions.Here are the codes,please help me!!

<div id="bottom"><a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages" target="_blank"><img src="FB.png" width="21" height="24" /></a><a href="http://www><img src="myspace.png" alt="" width="22" height="24" /></a> <a href="http://<img src="youtube.png" width="22" height="24" /></a><a href="http:/" target="_blank"><img src="blog.png" width="22" height="24" /></a><a href="http://" target="_blank"><img src="twitter.png" width="22" height="24" /></a></div>

<style type="text/css">
#bottom {
width: 76%;
position: fixed;
bottom: 30px;
border-top: 2px solid #666666;
border-left: 3px solid #666666;
border-right: 2px solid #666666;

-moz-border-radius-topleft: 7px;
-moz-border-radius-topright: 7px;
margin-bottom:-30px;
}

</style>

As I said at We Love CSS we really need a URI to SEE what cause the scroll bar to appear.
