I am developing a JQuery Mobile app for iPad which needs to display tabular info.
I do not have access to an iPad, so I am using Safari on my laptop.
My question is if I should stick to a Grid design (5 col max) or I could use a conventional HTML Table design.
Are there any cons if using the last option?

@jorgeco: Tables should work fine, and I recommend using tables if you're displaying tabular data. jQuery Mobile's grids are more designed for laying out page elements.
