Please review my site: Is it clear what I'm selling?

I think this "Judge and Jury" is a great concept, as all web developers know we get so focused in a site and spend so much time on them it's hard to "see what others see."

Can anyone tell me what I'm selling? Thanks in advance.

Hi Paul,

It's not totally clear to me what you're selling. "Email Newsletter Service" to me implies an mailing list sending service like MailChimp, but it looks like you write the newsletter content too?

I think perhaps your homepage could do with fewer paragraphs of text, and more icons/images/bullet points to get across the features of your service more succinctly. You sort of have these with your Features list in the sidebar and your "3 easy steps" graphic, but they're quite buried below all that intro text.

Another small point: I'd suggest linking your top-left logo to your site homepage. I keep wanting to click it to return to the homepage!

Anyway, hope that helps, and feel free to ask if you'd like more feedback!

Cheers,
Matt

Hi Paul,

Matt has pretty much covered all the main issues. One thing I noticed is that clicking your 'contact us' link in the footer brings the user back to your home page. You ought to fix that.

Thanks Matt & Mauco, I appreciate your input and made some changes. You are both right, and it's nice to have a new pair of eyes.

It's funny, but once you get input you can keep finding other things that can make it better. Just like the web, it's always chaning.

Happy sailing ... _/) Paul

You're welcome Paul. Your changes have already improved things - that "7 Reasons..." bullet list is much clearer than the text you had before.

If you'd like any more feedback please feel free to ask.

Cheers!
Matt
