Pretty good design overall. Clean, uncluttered layout, coordinated colour scheme and subtle imagery. Fairly easy to navigate.
Here are some small suggestions:
- The logo is quite nice, although it's hard to see the grey line (straw?) on the 'y'. Maybe change its colour?
- The nav menu is shifted over to the left on
http://74.3.11.115/espy/signin/index.php and the main content area seems wider (and the search form seems a bit messed up on Firefox/Mac at least). Same problems on
http://74.3.11.115/espy/advanced_search/- I want to click on that blue "Featured Item" graphic at the top of the right column, since it looks like a button. However it's not clickable.
- I'd probably eliminate the "Help" menu option and just have everything under "FAQ". At the moment it's hard to know which option to use, and what the difference is between the two. (We're guilty of exactly the same problem on
http://www.pagekits.com/ !)
