Hi All,

I would just like to introduce my website which I feel can help the absolute beginner to website creation and be a good resource for your website.

http://www.websitecreationhelp.com

The above website is aimed at the pre-steps (first steps) of website creation which is sometimes lacking on the web.

Regards

Hi Yoingco,

Greetings! Welcome to the Elated forums. Your site is coming along just fine, well done. I look forward to seeing the completed work.

Meanwhile, I like the design and colorscheme. However, I noticed that you didn't have a clear and consice logo, which is one of the first things I'm attracted to on any website I visit, so you might want to attend to that.

Also, I noticed that it wasn't easy to navigate your back to your home pages because each time I had to go back to the main bar on the right to click the main home page link!

Also, since this site is meant for beginners, I don't think its right to place your menu bar on the right hand side. I think it would be better you placed them either on the top or on the left hand side, as this is where most beginners would expect to see it.

Then those information boxes on the left hand side, I feel would be better placed on the left hand side. Also, I think you can improve on the header image(s) and get one that better represents a website creation help site.

I hope this helps.

Cheers,

mauco

Thanks for the constructive criticisms, Mauco. They have been of help.

It's good CSS allows me to swich over the sidebars with float

I agree with your navigation comments......I plan to put PREVIOUS and NEXT (or something) links at the bottom of each page for example, to get to the previous or next section....as well as an INDEX link.

The banner/logo is more of a representation of the time, money and uneven road website creation in general takes you on. So I think I will be keeping that

Thanks again

Regards

John
