All of the above.

Actually I'd say these days my 3 most common uses of the net are:

1) Communication (email, forums, twitter, facebook)
2) Reading news and blogs
3) Looking up information, or how to do something

How about you?

(Incidentally, this is why I think the iPad will do well. It sounds like it's perfectly suited to these 3 very common uses.)

Hi Matt,
well i too like all the above,and i agree with you on the three most common uses of internet.
What I like most about internet is reading and posting in forum and blogging..But some time I also like reading stuff and articles in blogs as well

My top uses are:

1. Getting work done through email, ftp, and of course web.
2. Reading new stuff & interesting blogs. Been getting into google reader and RSS lately

3. Buying something (I tend to do a lot of shopping online, now I live outside of the city)

4. Goofing around to refresh my mind
