This looks great - it almost makes me want to swap my iPhone for an Android!

Anyone here played with the app? Is it actually useful...?

Its a nice app really. theres a small story behind and would take a minute to explain.

Google have created/creating the image search engine (reading thru pixels/face recognition) than by words. then, using an algorithm, it just opulls all the related details of the place (if their db has the same picture).

If you could draw some picture with just minor changes, i bet, you would get funny results.. Still, lovely great tech app!

Ever heard of google wave?? if not, givvit a look. ITs pretty old, but been designed by brothers who developed google maps. Its an awesome email/chat/editing s/w.

Hey desibird,

Sounds fun. I'd like to give it a go. Shame there isn't a web-based version to play with/test it out!

I reviewed Wave in the ELATED Extra a while back ( http://www.elated.com/forums/topic/4776/ ). To be honest, though the technology is impressive, I really haven't found much use for it - at least, not yet. Its killer app is yet to come, I feel.

Cheers,
Matt

Wave is definitely a preview. Maybe in a couple of years, we'll all be using it, but for now, it's a good demo of what's achievable in a browser.
