Hi Mathijs, welcome to the forums!

Here are my first thoughts on your site, http://fun-break.com/ :

* It has an uncluttered layout, which makes it easy to use.

* The aqua page header is OK, but I would remove the square border around the header image (you can do this by putting the image in a separate DIV).

* Your site is unfinished as you say, but it could do with more information on each page. In particular, it would be good if the homepage described the purpose of the site. It's currently not very clear what the site is about.

* I would try to add some unique, original, fresh content in addition to the Google widgets etc. Not only will this encourage people to visit but it's good for SEO too.

Hope that helps! Let me know if you'd like any more feedback or suggestions.

Cheers,
Matt

Tnx for the comment.
I'm trying to delete the square border around the header, and i'm also working on the radio/games .
It's lots of work, espacialy the game page, so it's gonna take a while, but i'm working on it.
But first i'm gonna make my homepage have a better content.
I really don't have ideas for extra content, if someone has a good idea, please post it here

EDIT:
The homepage is now clear, and i've removed the egdes of the header

Much nicer without the header border.

Here are some suggestions for original content you could add:

* Tutorials/FAQs on how to watch TV/listen to radio/play games online

* Reviews of various online TV/radio services and online games

* Reviews of software for watching internet TV (such as Miro)

* Top 10 lists of your favourite online TV stations/radio channels/games

(Hint: Reviews of products tend to monetize well on AdSense in my experience!)

Cheers,
Matt

Thanks for the idea, but isn't it a lot of work?
I mean i've googled but to find 10 good working sites you have to go to page 10 or something, and than you also have to test it, and write a review.

I want my site to make money, so i can sale it for like $150 .
So how much should i make to sell it in one and a half month?
Maybe it's a good idea to write reviews of products, if it makes lots of money...

Hi Mathijs,

Yes, it's a lot of work. But content is king, as they say.

For your site to get a lot of traffic, and for it to monetize well with ads, you need to have lots of original, unique content that people want to read. There isn't really any other (legitimate) way to do it. If you look at most successful sites then they are filled with useful, original content.

You can save time by asking visitors and other people to create content for your site, in return for a link back to your site. But you'll need to build your site traffic first, in order to make the linkback an attractive option.

The same is true if you want to sell your site. Potential buyers will want to see a site that has lots of traffic and content, and that is monetizing well.

Cheers,
Matt

I really don't know then of that programes.
And i think i wouldn't make adds of other sites, if you can do it on my own site.
But the idea is good, and i will try to find an other subject for a tut. or top 10.

EDIT:
I could make a tut about donwloading youtube movies, with several ways to do it.
Would it make a bit of money true adsense?

EDIT 2:
I've made a tut about witch program/site you can use to download a youtube video.
Would this be good?

Thanks again, Mathijs

Hi Mathijs,

Yes that's a good start. If you write several articles on similar themes then you should start getting some traffic to your site.

I see you have Google Analytics installed. If you link it to your AdSense account then you'll be able to see how much money your articles are making on AdSense:

BTW I'd suggest adding some padding before the left hand edge of your text. It's quite hard to read when it's right up against the edge. Also I know English isn't your first language, but your text could do with some spelling/grammar corrections. (Alternatively have you considered creating a Dutch version of the site?)

Hope that helps!
