Anyone upgraded their mac yet?

How have you found it - faster, nicer?

I'm leaving it for now to give the inevitable bugs/app incompatibilities time to sort themselves out! For example, Photoshop CS3 sounds a bit rough round the edges on 10.6:

Still, the price is right ($29). I'll probably cave in and upgrade my work mac next month

I have upgraded. Fine so far. PS CS3 and Illustrator CS3 both fine.

Actually, my Time Machine drive just failed to mount on startup!

Oops.

Scratch the above - pilot error. The drive mounts fine!

Here's the good bits: Faster shutdown (hooray!), a bit zippier all round, 25Gb of reclaimed space and minimising windows to their app icon (reduces dock clutter). Great stuff!

Ooh, you're a brave lad! Glad it all works OK.

Mmm, I could really do with an extra 25GB. It's almost worth paying just for that!

I don't think we'll be upgrading any of the macs here for a while. Things are crazy busy at work right now and we can't afford the downtime. If there were some major new productivity features then I'd upgrade now, but I can't see much in SL to tempt me to upgrade. (THough the speed increase could be good...)
