Or if you have any other topic areas that you'd like to see added, please let us know!

Well I guess I'll go first!

Photoshop:
I would like to see a good detailed step-by-step tutorial on making a sample pagekit or a pagekit that you have already made. What this could accomplish is to help the newer people understand the design process a little bit more. Among others!

Javascript:
Well, There are a few things javascript can help provide a webmasters. First, if you do not have a host that supports ssi/php/cgi there is an actual Java script include that is a little slower but just as effective. Maybe some basic javascript tutorials getting to know what it is, what it can do, and some base code to help people.

HTML:
Right now, the only thing I can think of would be to make a small tutorial introducing the "<DIV>" tag. Its fairly new and not as many webdesigns know how to use it as an advantage. Not even I have used this enough to master it yet.

CSS:
Well, we all know that CSS is correlated with Javascript sorta. A CSS tutorial/s would be most helpful that show how to use CSS that benifit less editing throughout an entire webpage. Especially helpful with "tables".

FTP:
Probably the only thing you would be able to think up to add here is a brief tutorial showing people how to CHMOD files in CuteFTP/WS_FTP for CGI scripts. I know I had trouble doing that!

as for telnet, well, I honestly wouldn't bother unless you had a great influx of people that has the same problem with telnet. I really cant think of anyone I know that actually uses this except to check to protocols.

Those are my suggestions,
Scott

p.s. Some people are goig to request tutorials on flash, But I dont think you guys would wanna do that since you dont even incorporate flash into your client's webdesigns.

yup

Javascripting and Style... are where it's at...being able to do "client side" scripting opens up many doors.. for interactivity......

While I went to "programming" school back in the 80's... I was away from computers for many years... and have never "worked" in the IT field.... but , computers have always been my "true" love..... and since I've been back aboard... the last couple years... I've spent trying to "catch up"..... and because of the kind, dedicated.. pros'... Ive come a long way in a short time.... mainly by studying "other" peoples work... and by viewing tutorials.. that people like you have been kind enough to share...

thx... anything you do.. will be worth looking at !!! the "coding" examples are GREAT !!!!

XML tuts
Coldfusion tuts

Just in basic and maybe a tutorial on creating a page with tables/text/images etc.

I think it would be good to allow users to submit tutorials aswell.

EDIT: an dos'ing. Dos is a awsome program that comes in use everyday for me. It would be good to learn some new stuff.

If possible, a tutorial on the very basics of Flash would be good. How to make a simple intro, how to make a basic webpage with links to other pages internal and external etc. etc...

Thanks for all the suggestions you guys, they're great! Keep 'em coming!

We'll see what we can do to address your suggestions in future tutorials. I'm sure we'll be including a lot more JavaScript tutorials and maybe the odd Flash tutorial in the coming weeks.

Cheers,
Matt
