There is one of those flashing banners that is red and white that flash really fast and it drives me nuts. (so i usually have to hit stop on the browser but then i double post,) I recomend getting rid of this [If you can] with some abnner exchanges you can't get rid of em but just a suggestion thats what we are here for ,...yes?

Some flashing banners are so bad they are actually (I'm sure) dangerous for migraine sufferers, never mind if you suffer from epilpsy...

Is there an internet limit on how fast they can flash, to make sure no one comes to any harm?

That'll be the next thing...suing a company for their banner ad because it gave someone a bloomin headache!!

Also, if a an ad flashes so much it irritates you you're hardly likely to go visit the site, don't they realise this?

They don't care so long as you've clocked it I think!

If someone did try to sue, that'd be the end as they'd all wuss it. Anyone fancy a go?!

I can't look at them for long enough to generate a migraine.

If I could, I'd probably find a way to make a brouhaha.

I'll tell you what I do, though. I have no compunctions about contacting places to say that their ads are so obnoxious I will never buy their products. The "refresh" key works wonders, too...

Try browsing with opera (opera.com).
It has a very nice feature under the [file] menu: Turn off gif animations!
Always nice on adheavy sites.
