And i have two suggestions to additions to www.elated.com, becoase we all spend so much time here, we want it to be personalized to our group as much as we can, wiht makeing everyone happy! Right? So here are my ideas, maybe ad some sound becouse whenever i come here it seams so quite. I don't know why but I always turn on some music. And I was wanting A.M.F.A.P
(as manny feeadbacks as possible) on getting a new forum. I understand the Elated Teams issues on this becouse it may lowwer the average results in each poll. But as for me and many others I go to every poll and post replies to as many people as I can, becouse I, and probbably everyone else, knows how much it sucks to have i post up and no one reply when you really are stuck or need help! So the forum topic I submit is a Links Forum, where if i need a javascript, then someone can come over and say "www.javascripts.com is great i use it all the time!" i could check it out to see if it was what I needed. I think it is a great idea becouse there is no really Forum to post it in. So you got to random pick it. Please Post ideas supporting these ideas! Thanks for your support.

I take your point with the music but personally I'd rather listen to the mp3's that I like when I'm surfing the web, than have to listen to music chosen by a webmaster that probably doesn't agree with my own tastes! And MIDI tunes do tend to suck, on the whole... :-/

We tend to mention sites (such as www.javascripts.com) as and when they're useful for answering people's specific questions. Not sure if this deserves a whole forum of its own to be honest. However we will be adding a "general chat" forum soon - I promise! Watch this space...

ust one thing, be sure to make everyone know its internet/computer related chat if you want it to be on those topics becouse its a webmaster forum, not last weeks Full House episode fan site, lol

Interesting point... would you all like a forum for chatting only about computer-related stuff, or a more general "chat about anything" type forum?

Right, my 2 pennies worth in my first posting...

Music/sound -I prefer it silent. If I'm on my desktop I have my MP3's or radio 2 playing (BBC) it drives me mad when some jingly jangly stuff comes over the top - no thank you. And, when I'm on my laptop the sound is so measly anyway I'd rather have the silence.

Chat forum - It's nice to chat about other and silly things rather than always techno stuff.

Always good to have somewhere to vent and rant if someone or something really p*sses you off or you can just chat about whatever.

...besides, I'm totally un-techno and I'm the one who'd always be taking the info from yr minds and never able to give any back...I can chat like mad tho...
