Hi Matt and Simon

I have been meaning to tell you this for a long time, but your banner ads really slow the page loading time of your site for me. It drives me crazy - I always end up leaving before I am really done because of it.

I know that it would probably be a major endeavor to switch ad companies, but I just thought you should know.

Yeah, I hear you there actually. They've started using DHTML/java in the ads too which are both notorious for being buggy/slow on different systems.

I must confess that it's beginning to bug me too, especially the monkey applet which slows my mac down to breaking point...

We shall investigate. It's hard as they seem to target different browsers/platforms so finding the ones to kill is tricky.

We shall see...
