Not just our images - anyone's!

It's a known bug in IE5.5. Happens randomly on any site.

You could try repairing your IE (Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs / Microsoft IE5.5 and Internet Tools / Repair Internet Explorer).

Also make sure you have View > Encoding > Western European (Windows) selected.

There are loads of posts on microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie55.browser
regarding this issue.

Alternatively, switch to using Mozilla!

Cheers,
Matt

Ok, I use IE 5.5, and I have found a way that works for me to make Elated images show.

I always just type in the site name (Yahoo for example) and hit control+enter, and it adds the www and the .com. Whenever I do that to Elated, the images don't show. But when I type it in they do.

That's a pretty neat trick Noah! But I don't think it solves the problem. I've typed the URL into IE5.5 with quite a few sites (including our own) and the images are still broken (randomly).

I think I'll reinstall IE when I have a few moments!

Cheers,
Matt
