Personally, I am not a big frames person. I think they only look good when used correctly. You guys have used them to perfection i think so I wont knock that. What I do like is tables. Tables, tables everywhere. What i would like to see in the tips is a tables guideline. SOmething that explains them to "sorta new" webdevelopers.
I have been writting HTML for 4 years now, but i can never seem to master tables as you have in your pages kits, specifically, port(al). I enjoy the nice flow of it all. But, alas when i try to duplicate the look in some way on my own, it comes out looking funny, or just not the way I had planned at all. I downloaded the source of some of the page kits to get an idea of what was going on and i think i have it. I just want the pride to be able to sit back and enjoy the fact that i coded it from scratch myself. Any kind of tip would be great.

PS...Can i have a job heh

Tables can be tricky as they tend to behave very differently across different browsers. The best tip I can offer is to just experiment! Eventually you'll get a "feel" for how table cells, widths etc work across different browsers.

Other tips:

* To "debug" your tables, set table borders from 0 to 1 so you can see where all the cells are on the screen.

* Use invisible 1x1-pixel GIF's to pad text and graphics out within tables, to get finer positioning.

Good luck!
