Thanks for posting. It's an interesting question. Not being a real SEO-head I may not be much help, but maybe it has to do with the image links on the homepage?

Or simply the shock of the new for Google? How long has the site been live?

You have a very nice site. Your meta tags look good. I wouldn't worry about page rank. I used to but found it a waste of time. I now concentrate on the SERPs. I am in business to make money, not impress people with page rank.

To be fair, most of the threads in this forum were two years old

Though it's picked up again in recent weeks, which is great.

Maybe Ken didn't realise they were so old. Anyway I think his comments are still relevant (the fashion site is still there for one thing!).
