i get your idea with the colours. but one major thing you need to work on is site navagation. it's very confusing and you lose the links once you go into the site.

The layout is kinda funny, but that maybe the kind of feel your going for.

like the touch on the mona lisa pic.

Hi Malapropism, welcome to the Forums.

I like the design of your site. I particularly liked the rollover effects on the photo gallery (changing from black and white to colour) and the Mona Lisa effect!

Your use of DIV's and absolute positioning on your main page is nice, and I like the monochrome look. It gives a definite mood and style to the site.

Gregsta has a point about navigation - it is sometimes hard to find your way back to the home page. I'd change "go back" on the about page to say "Site Home Page" and move it to the left so it's consistent with the other pages on your site.

Overall, a really nice showcase of your work, with a moody, distinctive design!
