March 21,2001 ,I visited a favorite web site and
they invited webmasters to use one of their graphical links on my own website in trade for product samples and promotions. This co.has a good reputation and I am going to go ahead and include their link on my site. I tried to cut and copy the graphic/link but ran into the problem of,
how to save this so when I goy back to editing my web pages ,I could add it into it. WRONG! I tried copying but didn't know how to save it for retrieval later. I am still new to some of this web stuff. I am not afraid of a little constructive criticizm (pardon the spelling its late)so here is my url: http://homepages.about.com/radiojunky/radiojunky
2001/
Please help!!! Thanks"radiojunky"

Hi radiojunky, welcome to the Forums!

To put an image in your own page, just right-click on it and do "Save Image As...", then save it to your website directory and link to it using the IMG tag. See our tutorial "using images" for more info:

I like the clean, uncluttered layout of your home page. You've got everything aligned nicely through the use of tables. Navigation is easy due to having the easily visible text links at the top-left of every page.

Consider adding a subtle main graphic, maybe of a radio, to the front page to add interest. Also, the blue text is a bit hard to read on the black - maybe make it a lighter blue?

If possible, use guestbook buttons with a black background so they blend in better.

Underlining your text is confusing, because it makes me think it's a link and I keep trying to click on it! You could maybe use bold text, or text in a different colour, for stuff you want to highlight.

Overall, a good, easy-to-navigate site with some useful info.

Hope that helps!

Best wishes,
Matt

Hello,
Here is the changes I added from you'r suggestions
from you'r first posting.
Let me know how you like the changes.
I still cannot add the graphical links to my site.
My computer say I need netscape 6.0 to do this , but yet the graphic links (including Elated link button) is in my computer.
AAAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!

Yep, that's better - the blue text is much easier to read now, and it's easier to spot the links too! Good one.

Are you having trouble uploading your images to the about.com server? Have a look at their help on uploading, or send a mail to their support people and ask them how to upload images. They should be able to help you out.

Best wishes,
