Hi kane, welcome to the Forums.
I think your site's got some good features. Having the "Site Updates" near the top allows people to see at a glance what's been added, which encourages repeat visits. And the numerous photos on the front page add interest and make it clear what the site's about.
I think you're right about the page being too cluttered though. I think there are 4 main ways to improve the page: consistency, spacing, and alignment:
1) Consistency. Your page uses several fonts, colours, button designs, title designs, and image captions. This makes the page look more cluttered and is also confusing to navigate. Stick to just 2 or 3 colours for your titles and buttons, and also use just a couple of fonts. For your "Basic Terrain / Sci-Fi" etc buttons I'd recommend using at least the same font, or colour, or style for these buttons. Vary one of these elements if absolutely necessary, but try to keep the buttons consistent overall.
2) Spacing. Add more space, both horizontal and vertical, between the different sections of your page (title, welcome message, site updates, the text menu on the left etc). This will give the site a less cluttered and "arier" feel.
3) Alignment. Very few elements in your page line up with each other, either horizontally or vertically, which tends to make the page feel a bit cluttered and "hectic". Try lining up all your green text links in a table cell. Same goes for the images - consider putting them all in a table, and if possible, make the images all the same width and height.
Another suggestion would be to move some of your images at the bottom of your page onto a separate page or pages, to make the front page less big so that it loads faster and doesn't scroll so much. This will encourage people to look around your site more.
Also, as your site is an e-commerce site, I'd recommend having your "View Cart" button at the top of every page, rather than below the scroll on the front page, as this button should be very easy to access in order to help people buy your stuff.
Overall then, a colourful, interesting site with lots of good pictures and ideas. Using the above techniques, I think your site would look really professional and would encourage more of those visits and sales.
Hope that helps!
Best wishes,
Matt
