User-importation of images

I need a script that will allow users to click on a hyperlinked text on a webpage and import an image onto the same page without opening a new page. I then need users to be able to click on other hyperlinked text on the same page and then import other images that will overwrite any existing images in the display area. Any ideas?

I suggest posting in the Authoring and Programming forum.

What do you mean by "import"? Upload? If so, sounds like you need something like this:
