Hi there - I'm relatively new to Photoshop and I'm tearing my hair out on this one - and I know it'll be a simple process if I knew how to do it. I'm sending photos I've taken to a photo library. they ask that all images are sent initially at 72dpi, at 210mmx148mm (approx A5). When I use the 'large' size in automate process in Photoshop, the photos are still too small.

Can anyone tell me how I batch process photos to A5 size? It's driving me nuts - and I've got 350 plus photos to do!

Hi Mary,

The first thing you need to do is create new action that re-sizes to that size. Use the Image Size option in the "Image" menu for this, and record your action.

When you've done that, you can use Photoshop's Batch convert feature. Go to File>Automate>Batch. Choose your action that you just recorded and set the Source and Destination folders.

Press OK, and go make some coffee!

Cheers Simon for the tip. I'll give it a bash ... and have a very large coffee and cake.
