Hi,

I'm trying to use Photoshop 4 to draw a circle. How do I do it? I can only seem to make squares with the selection command.

Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks,
Bishop

Hi Bishop,

Thanks for your question. Welcome to the Forums!

Drawing a circle in Photoshop is easy, when you know how. First, make a new document with the File > New command. Then click on the rectangle selection tool (top left) and hold the mouse until another menu pops up. Select the ellipse selection tool from the menu (the round one).

Now to select a perfect circle, click and drag on your document, *holding down the shift key*. That will make a circle, rather than an oval.

When you're done, select the Edit > Stroke command, select a width of 1 pixels and select "center". Click OK.

There you have it - a perfect cirle!

Would anyone else like any help with drawing shapes in Photoshop? Post your questions in this forum and we'll help you out.

I persoanlly like to color fill selection. Then CONTRACT it for XY pixels, then color it again or just DELETE part from inside.

I find that that produces very uneven results for more than a few pixels (which is presumably why they only give you 16).. any ideas?
