Do you use Facebook?

I signed up with Facebook a couple of weeks ago. I'd been cynically avoiding it for ages, but so many of my friends seemed to be on it, so I thought I'd give it a go.

I think I'm addicted! It's brilliant. I love the News Feed that shows you what your friends are doing in real-time. I'm constantly reloading the page!

I also like the way you can do things to your friends like send them free gifts and hugs (or even turn them into zombies!).

The whole thing's very nicely done too, with plenty of Ajax to make the experience as smooth as possible.

If you use Facebook, what do you love or hate about it? Or do you prefer MySpace?

I've used Facebook since college. It doesn't seem the same since they opened it up to any old joe (last year?). The thought of my mom or dad being on Facebook... not cool.... (not that it's happened so far...)

I still use it every day though - much better than MySpace. The newsfeed rocks...

Yep, I'm completely addicted to it. I find it so much easier to keep in touch with friends than by typing a long email, and find I'm keeping in touch with people who I wouldn't necessarily expect to.

I love the newsfeed too. It's great to see what people are up to and see their photos etc, and the apps are fantastic. I just love the way that you can get apps that match your interests as well as stuff to interact more.

Just installed the iLike app. The Music Challenge is great fun, and the free mp3s are a nice bonus! I'm even more addicted to facebook now

I still haven't quite got the hang of Facebook, I must admit, but then I'm a MySpace refusenik too!
