Very intense visions, for instance, have long been associated with ecstatic states, both in a sexual and religious sense. To explore our senses in a sex-partnership I guess we have to trust our partners. Did you see the film '9-and-a-half weeks' where Kim Basinger was blindfolded and Micky Rourke fed her samples of food and drink? A good example of what we are discussing, I think.
