Well.. this is my first time browsing this site, and I found it quite refreshing.
I'm currently working on a screenplay involving two couples: one heterosexual and the other homosexual. To make a story short, basically, the message I'm trying to convey here is that, whether you're heterosexual or homosexual, the passion for your partner is equally intense and powerful. For some reason, I always enjoy asking my female colleagues for some input when it comes to passages in the play that describe the love-making acts of the individuals. As a heterosexual male, for some reasons, I find that many male writers (with the exception of DH Lawrence, of course) could not capture the essence of human sensuality as well as their female counterparts. From my observation of their works, when it comes to erotic passages, they're too... how shoud I say it... too mechanical. In fact, in passages describing the homosexual love-making scenes, I even rely on my trustworthy female writer friend to help me in these areas. I guess women do have something unique in their understanding of true human sexuality. Kudos!!
