ELATED Launch New-Look Webmaster Resource Site
(Reading, UK) Elated Communications Ltd today unveiled a brand new version of their free Webmaster resources site, www.elated.com. Previously known as The Elated Web Toolbox, the new site, ELATED.com, gives Webmasters even more great free graphics, website templates, stock photos and tutorials. The site also features the highly popular Webmaster Forums (www.elated.com/forums/), where fellow Webmasters can meet up, chat and help each other out with building websites.
"Our new-look site is even bigger than the old Toolbox, and even easier to use," says Matt Doyle, Technical Director and Webmaster of ELATED.com. "We've improved navigation throughout the site, given it a cleaner look, and added a back-end database to serve the free graphics more effectively. The Forums have also been improved and streamlined, which will help encourage more interaction between fellow Webmasters."
Many of the improvements to the site came about as a result of user feedback. Users asked for more tips and tutorials on a wider range of topics, including Paint Shop Pro and web programming. ELATED have also added a greater range of royalty-free stock photos, that can be used by Webmasters to help create their own sites. The Forums have been made more accessible, and are fully searchable from the front page of the site.
Another major innovation launched with the new site is the inclusion of the Photoshop source files (.PSD's) with each PageKit site template. This allows users to customise the PageKits more readily to suit their design requirements.
Simon Meek, Creative Director of ELATED.com and designer of the majority of the PageKits, said: "We're really giving people the opportunity to get the most out of the PageKits now, thanks to giving away the source .PSD's on the site. They can now see how the PageKits were put together and play around with the sources, which is both educational and useful to Webmasters."
